Money and winning things does that and the second one or both is no longer there they want off.

All Arsenal are doing right now is going to the last minute in the hope it drags a few more £££ out of us.

Only if Arsenal agree. His future is in Arsenal's hands unfortunately. I wouldn't be surprised to see them run down his contract simply to make a point that they are not selling club anymore.

Instead, they’ll become a giving away club, as Wenger forces all his unhappy players to see out their contracts, which is the ideal situation, according to the great man himself.

Yep, "to bring players in we had to sell, I don't want players who aren't 100% committed, he expressed his desire to leave and the fee was too good to turn down" :D

I agree, but we still allowed ourselves to be in a position where we had 3 of our 4 full backs as well as our first choice keeper at the time all to be out of contract at the same time. The point I was making was not to do with value but more to do with how poorly we had managed the situation. To be fair it is different with Willy as nobody expected he would become first choice.
We still put ourselves in a poor position to get the best possible deals due to the fact that everyone knew we had to replace them, i will admit that i am very happy with the full backs we have signed though.
