At least we know Arsenal are willing to sell, like we knew all along. This is all just part of the show until we sign him for 60-70m.

Get the fuck in. Mullock has proper links to the club.
Only goes to demonstrate just how many CITY fans there are that can 'go off on one' at the most flimsy of excuses and are so quick to slag off the club on the basis of that flimsy shit

Just my opinion, but it shows them up to be pretty shallow and an embarrassment to the club and themselves

The club has done so much for us fans in recent years - why do so many act in such a juvenile manner?

I think the best deal for us and Arsenal is loaning them Sterling for a season.
If we got Alexis Sterling is not going to play too much but in he will be a very important player for Arsenal. They get a (kind of) replacement for Sanchez, a young HG player and we will get a much better Sterling next year
I don't see how we get a better Sterling next year. More likely we'd get a royally pissed off Sterling back with 2 years left on his contract, which he'd decide to run down.

No way is that a good idea.

I don't rate Sterling, I think he's pretty woeful at times. But I still don't like this swap, due to the ages of the players. I'd rather we paid a perceived higher fee in pure cash, than include a player.

This is just it. It’s the whole pantomime Arsenal need to do to firstly get the supporters to consider a life after Sanchez by muting possible replacements. But as we all know, it will be cash all the way (plus maybe one of our expendable players in the departure lounge) not a 22 yr old homegrown international

Makes zero sense, we need an extra player not a replacement. Then there's Sterlings homegrown status to consider. We're struggling for them as it is so why the hell would we let our best one go? we paid 50 for him a few seasons ago, In this market, Sterling would be worth close to £100 million now, yet we're supposedly offering him and money for somebody that has reached his prime and can leave for free next season? I don't believe it for a second but If there is any truth in this whatsoever we've gone batshit mad.
