I simply do not agree with you at all. Yaya is better than Sanchez in my view.

EDIT: OK, maybe not. I was getting carried away. But Sanchez is definitely not the best player in our squad straight off.

im sure Wenger thinks they are still in it, not just for top 4, for the title, with what they have so he thinks why sign more players??... He's a bit delusional, he just said this week Sanchez is happy and may still re-sign. Nobody watching the Liverpool game can believe that, except him. And that's his prerogative. he is probselling the board "let me keep Alexis, we'll def get back in CL". I think he's wrong, and I think they'll prob be lucky to finish in an EL spot this season. They'll likely loose both AS and Ozil next summer for nothing and will not be able to replace them with players near that talent level. Wenger will prob getf fired. They'll be in the weeds for a few years. Really is incredibly short sighted on their part. Can't let a 70-something year old guy struggling to save his job/legacy make decisions with potential long term ramifications.

Conclusion ? He didn't speak to one.

Do you think Arsenal would turn down a bid for Sanchez of 150 million pounds ?
 
Sanchez has a 1 in 2 record for Arsenal, playing from Left Wing, across all comps. Why on earth people don't think he's worth spunking a load on is beyond me. He'll add goals.
 
If we don't get Sanchez then we will surely get another striker. Can't compete in four competitions with just two strikers.

I think you're getting a bit carried away with how good Sanchez is. Sergio was until a poor season last year, regarded arguably the best out-and-out striker in the world. A toss up between him and Jaws.

Yep, shocking season last year for Sergio - only 33 goals in 45 games. Meanwhile Sanchez scored 30 in 51.

If you compare careers, they've played a similar number of games and Sergio has scored 130 more.

Anyone who thinks Sanchez is superior to Aguero needs to give their heads a wobble.

No-one's saying we shouldn't be "spunking a load" on him.

Merely that we should not allow us - when we hold all the cards - to get shafted over it. If he comes, great. If not, also great.

We have plenty of goal scorers in our team, which is as a team not scoring enough goals. Sanchez would help for sure, but he alone is not THE fix.
