Exactly. As good as he is, the idea that Arsenal have essentially paid 60m + wages for having him play for them for one season is terrible business.

Won't we end up paying Sanchez close to around £50m in a signing on bonus if we go for him in the summer?

I don't think it makes a difference if we pay in and around £50m in January because we will either end up paying a similar or exact fee to either Arsenal in January or Sanchez in the summer.
