Alexis Sanchez

Up until today, we had absolutely no intention of signing Sanchez next month.

Things might now well change after Jesus' injury, but City were pretty clear in a brief over Christmas that a deal was very unlikely and were willing to now wait until the summer.

All I am suggesting at present is that Alves was also set for City until Paris came late to the party.
He's a better chance of game time with us after todays proceedings.
If he goes to Paris he's after noughts on his bank balance.
If he comes to us you know it's for silverware.

Transfer window doesn't even open until tomorrow so I think he'd need to be more patient in that scenario.

And we're now at a level whereby the Sanchez's want to come to us more than we really need them. If he comes, great. If not, one of the other 6 world class attackers we have will be relied on to score.
That's why I don't get the VVD to Liverpool stuff. Transfer window shut, yet he's holding a Liverpool top, going to Liverpool games and not playing for Southampton - all that and fuck all is said about it, only the price is questioned.

If he keeps scoring Wenger will be coming in his pants at the thought of either keeping an in-form player or a bag full of cash .

I detest the fucking old twat !

Think it'll happen. Arsenal players want him out and arsenal want to save face. They can ask for a bit more but not much if Jesus is only out for a month. Only way I see us paying a premium based on Jesus's injury is if we get it done this week. If it drags til 31st, then Jesus won't be far off a return.
Offer them 15-20 million and they will take it and run

I still dont see why it would be in their interest to sell him for that price. He might be sulking but hes still by far their best player and CL qualification will be worth more than 20 million.

15-20 million ? At the moment he’s probably their best player and it’s not like he’s making any noises to leave - the only way this could happen in January is if he agitates for a move and we offer enough money for the Arsenal board to override Wenger. I wish I had your optimism but I don’t see Wenger letting him go - certainly not to us

Apparently it was an own goal. Shocking penalty decision :-)

Just noticed that they changed it to an OG .

Can't say I'm surprised - the decisions being given are fucking alarming and worrying . FA / PGMOL are fucking incompetent and corrupt in varying measures imo.

Because the whole dressing room has turned against him and he will cost them another couple of million in wages. Best just take the money and get someone in in january

Yeah and of course Liverpool were reported about tapping up but they still sells to them.

He isn't making any noises to leave? What are you on about?

What has he done to agitate a move this window? He’s still playing well for the Arse - he’s not handing in a transfer request has he? The point I’m making is that he could make it easier for himself and City to make this move happen.
