Just noticed that they changed it to an OG .

Can't say I'm surprised - the decisions being given are fucking alarming and worrying . FA / PGMOL are fucking incompetent and corrupt in varying measures imo.

I thought West Brom deserved the draw but i would be livid with that penalty. As livid I was about ours today !

well no they have the player.

Why would they reject an offer of 60 million in the summer and then sell in the middle of the season for 20 million?

Because he could get injured v Chelsea, not play ever again for Arsenal and go for nothing in five months, perhaps?

Keeping him and getting nothing is a big risk v guaranteed money to spend now.

Though I think it will take more like £35 million with add ons.

We will not pay that right now without testing Wegner's determination first.

if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle type of argument. Not a chance they will sell unless they get a replacement or we offer stupid money.

Hope Im wrong of course but I just don't see logic in them selling for cheap just because he has 6 months left on his contract.

Whilst they still have a sniff of top 4, they hold all the aces

That ‘sniff’ is looking increasingly like the vapours from last nights empty lager cans.... they best sell quick whilst they’re still looking like 4th place contenders and can attract a decent calibre of replacement

To you and I yes, but Wenger will still think he has a chance and whilst he has that mindset (which, as manager he should have), he holds the cards

Up until today, we had absolutely no intention of signing Sanchez next month.

Things might now well change after Jesus' injury, but City were pretty clear in a brief over Christmas that a deal was very unlikely and were willing to now wait until the summer.

All I am suggesting at present is that Alves was also set for City until Paris came late to the party.
Swap deal for draxler plus cash ?

What has he done to agitate a move this window? He’s still playing well for the Arse - he’s not handing in a transfer request has he? The point I’m making is that he could make it easier for himself and City to make this move happen.
You are assuming we are going to bid for him.

City may not yet have the history of European Cups and Champions League successes of other clubs, but regardless of the destination of this Summer's Champions League, we are the Premier club in Europe for players now - certainly in the top 5 to avoid argument! This is the first Summer when we should be outright favourites to buy any available player. Sanchez is good, but he's not that good. We can do much better. I know you'll say who? But wait on. It was Mbappe last Summer. Other players will come to light. Bide our time. There's no rush. Only the best for City. A De Bruyne or a Silva, not a player who has had his best days. Dybala? W You wont see Real Madrid, or Barcelona buying him so why should we. PSG wont either. They've been linked but only because they can't buy players for cash so a free may work for them if no one else is interested.

Wait for the World Cup. There'll be stars that emerge.

If we get Sanchez, hardly a disaster, but a development that represents an opportunity cost for me. A failure to maximise our supreme position in the transfer market where we have the power to buy the best striker in world football. If one isn't clear - then wait. We buy now, we'll make life awkward for ourselves and regret it later.

I think what might convince the board to move is not just what happens to Jesus but what could have happened to Kev.

That put the realisation today into pretty much all of us that in one game we could have had 2 serious serious and possibly long-term injuries.

The club will know that without Jesus we still have Aguero, but without Kev I think it ends all hopes of a Champions League run.
