martin blackburn reporting that pep wants him now.... it's on ladies and gents

latest

If we go for Sanchez I hope it will be soon, there is no need to wait for the end of the month.
Right we probably can win the leuage without him but we can get here a WC player with a lots of experience, can play in CL, can help us in the cups and next season will come connected to the team already. Is there any hesitation here at all?

If Martin B is correct and we sign Sanchez that means JFE! ...........Inigo & Umtiti both ineligible!
The Sanchez purchase has no bearing on Umtiti's eligibility. Umtiti is cuptied whatever happens and if our interest is genuine then clearly his champs league eligibility isn't viewed as a deal breaker by us.

I have some questions:
Can a player involved in europa league play CL in an eventual transfer?
How much money do clubs receive for qualifying to CL?

-
It is certain that there will be resistance on the part of Arsene to block an eventual transfer; Arsene needs Alexis to try to return to CL, without CL it will be more difficult to attract good players to replace him.

It’s been said a million times, Alexis will be eligible to play in the CL.

Another misleading headline for clickbait.

Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of signing for Manchester City
Reading that article made me consider something I had not thought of previously. It talked about how Wenger is reluctant to strengthen a Premier League rival.

Whilst I am sure that is true in principle, and doubtless it was on Wenger's mind a bit at the start of the season, surely it isn't now? He must surely realise that at this stage in this season (the only season which matters since Sanchez will be gone in the summer whatever happens) we are not his rival.

His rivals are Chelsea, Unired, Spurs, Liverpool. Selling Sanchez to us has no impact whatsoever on Arsenal's ability to catch us this season, since they are not catching us with or without him. Yes, losing Sanchez damages Arsenal's chances compared to their actual rivals, but Wenger may figure he can get top 4 anyway.
