No idea tbh JT. I suppose it depends on lots of factors, cash, how Jesus rehab is going .. lots of variables.

Still don't see it happening. Speculating (what else is there to do!) I'd say we intended to wait until the summer and probably communicated that to him and to Arse which in turn meant they probably didn't plan to need a replacement in January. Now with Jesus's injury there is a more pressing need but once again it looks like Arse won't have got any options lined up for this window so probably won't sanction the move.

It makes little sense to sign him on 31 Jan by which time only league and CL games might be left for him to play in and Jesus might only be 2/3 weeks away from a return.

It has to be in the next day or two or Summer in my view.

yep, that's what I meant! Don't think he'll play for Arsenal and nothing to do with transfer, so don't think his selection or otherwise would be indicative of a possible move.

If we budgeted around £60m on deadline day for him I am pretty sure we will have the same figure to spend this window.

I think this will go ahead, not just because of Jesus’ injury, but because in the last couple of months I think it’s been clear that we have needed that extra attacking option in certain games.

Aguero isn’t the player he was this season, Jesus hadn’t scored in around 9 games, Sane is a bit hit and miss at the moment probably due to him experiencing his first full PL season (only got into the team in December last season), and Sterling for as good as he has been this season is being relied on far too much recently to win us football matches.

An extra experienced option could really give us a boost.

Agree.

Considering who the player is as well, I think Sanchez could very well end up getting one of the biggest signing on fee’s in the history of football anyway.

I think his signing on fee could be in excess of £20m-£25m.
