This is true imo.

Sanchez can be a great signing for the rest of the season, but in games where everyone fucks up, he is likely to fuck up as well.

City have been remarkable this season, in that every time we've had one of 'those days' we've won. That's without Sanchez. Arsenal haven't, this season or last season, with Sanchez.

I’m not sure they hold all the cards mate, a player in the last few months of his contract who clearly wants a move doesn’t make their position strong at all...in fact exactly the opposite.

I'm certain that we'll get him eventually, just not sure if it will be this window now. Have heard that we're happy to wait until summer, but hope we're just calling Arsenal's bluff. We've got an unprecedented opportunity (for us at least) to have a serious go at four trophies, but need reinforcements. Would be a mistake not to strengthen now imo, especially if it's over a few million pounds.

I think Alexis has let it be known that he wants out and the other players are believed to want him sold, so this will be Wenger trying to exert his power over the move. I think the Arsenal board will want some kind of money for him and wouldn't be stupid enoug to let him walk for nothing. They are a money driven thrifty club and will sell, but at the same time posturing to keep the fans happy until they get a replacement.
