Short term or not get him in and win as much as we can this year. If we then look back after winning 1/2/3 or 4 trophies and say ‘it was only short term’ who cares

We want to be succesful in every competition we enter as this season is proving.As it stands we do not have the strength in depth to sustain that desire,we need players of sanchez's ability and experience.He and everyone else will be rotated accordingly and there will be plenty enough game time to keep all content.

Signing Sanchez is a must and it will prove a masterstroke.

Sanchez could be the difference between a good season and a great season. The striking positions is the only one we lack real depth, and he fits perfectly into how we play, comfortable anywhere in a front 3, all action style suiting the pressing game, scores and creates chances. He's really the last piece. Against Bristol City, we created the chances, but were let down in the final third. I wouldn't worry too much about his age either. Van Persie was older when he joined United that season, and look at the impact he had. If we get 3 good seasons out of him, then brilliant.

If we win the title playing like this & don't win another single game in any other competition, it will still be the best season I've ever experienced as a City fan & the best team I've seen in the flesh, bar none.

No chance, that would be a poor piece of business. RS, LS and GJ are the future of the club and Aguero despite the shit in the papers is still banging them in on a regular basis. Sanchez is only worth signing as and addition and not a replacement because the games are coming thick and fast. I'd also not do anything to benefit Wenger and Arsenal after their behaviou in the summer.

Agree.

He would have to start scoring lots of goals to make that step up though. But no reason he shouldn't & he has the build to be a threat from headers too. Depends how much work he puts into it.

Interesting that he's starting to appear on set pieces sometimes, even with KDB stood next to him. That means they know he can do it from training. He put a ball in v Bristol, which landed shin high I front of the keeper; that should have been a tap in.

I would like to see Sanchez playing his annoying flicky pass thing that he wastes the ball with at Arsenal, to Sane, sprinting into the centre. Could become a defence buster.

Physically yes. He is an exceptional talent. The mental side is always what separates the greats from the rest and that's the side that I believe needs the greatest development. He's a top prospect and I hope he reaches his potential .

Just because United have contacted Arsenal doesn't mean that Sanchez would willingly go. He's turned down far better clubs in Bayern/PSG to join us, why would he want to go to United? He's more or less guaranteed to win silverware with us this season as well.
