What the hell is 0.8/1? Do you mean 8-1 on?

What a bunch of pricks they are. Amateurs in every respect.I get the distinct feeling that City are playing a blinder here, and benefiting from a long-running open dialogue with Sanchez’s camp. I think he is sitting tight waiting for us to do the deal and everything else is just bluster and negotiation. I cannot believe for a second that the last minute United interest is anything more than mischief making by MUFC/AFC.
Was 11/4 earlierGet a few quid on him coming to us then ;)
I think you have hit the nail on the head there.
In terms of the Sanchez deal, I do think that we should be doing everything sensible to sign him. The issue we might have is that the Rags are desperate and are now a far more profligate organisation than our own. I find it quite ironic at times how people go on about City's money whilst the club have been increasingly prudent over the last few years.
I'm not as pessimistic as Tolmie about our situation but I want the insurance policy. Also, I want us to spend every last penny we can afford (under FFP) in this window to strengthen and pull away from our opponents; plus doing everything we can to make this a truly historic season.
I think we have a fantastically well run club but room remains for improvement and I do not think we are quite as ruthless as we should be.
Of course, we have to sign players who want to be at City for the right reasons and have the right attitude.
put it that way so it was easier to understand. Obviously wasnt. Means if you put £1 on you win 80pWhat the hell is 0.8/1? Do you mean 8-1 on?
OK, thanks.put it that way so it was easier to understand. Obviously wasnt. Means if you put £1 on you win 80p
Who the fuck are man united x 3F*** it, I'm jumping the gun!
"He want's to be Blue
"He turned down Man U
"Oh Alex Sanchez, he want' to be blue!
Hahaha!!! I think every bluemooner and his/her dog knows this but thankfully at the end of this season we can lay the issue of Yaya to rest. He's on about Yaya - he's like a stuck fucking record, can't go a post without going on about his hatred for the player.
60m when he is free in a few months? fuck thatI know we have the hump over the way Arsenal messed us about in the summer but we were prepared to pay 60 million, plus agents fees and wages then. Now we can get him for 35 million, allegedly, plus wages which would probably equate to the 60 million flat fee we were prepared to pay back then. Unless we have a cast iron guarantee he will only join us it seems churlish to lose him to the rags now.
So are you saying we should pay what they want?I know we have the hump over the way Arsenal messed us about in the summer but we were prepared to pay 60 million, plus agents fees and wages then. Not really free. His signing on fee will probably be the biggest ever paid if he signs in the summer.
