Alexis Sanchez

Can you honestly see any other team toppling City with Sanchez in their side?

I can't.
If Sanchez was that much of a 'guarantee' Arsenal wouldn't be sitting in sixth playing Europa League football. He's a good player and we should sign him but he guarantees fuck all.

Money shouts in today's game. Did you honestly expect Neymar to sign for PSG at the start of the season? I didn't.

It isn't coming out of our pockets, why should we care? Couldn't give a shit what the total fee comes to, end of the day we will have another world class player to add to our team.

He is an absolute joy to watch, I want to be watching him at my club and not in that poisonous red shirt.

I know it's not my money, but I'm also not stupid, and I prefer the club I support not to be too.

Paying whatever the seller wants when they have NO LEVERAGE is FUCKING STUPID.

No you can't, but with Sanchez and a couple of high level signings in the summer, you never know. They will certainly narrow the gap between us and them.

Granted, we have the best manager in the world, but the best managers don't always win the league every other season.

I have met few blues who are as deathly afraid of the rags as you. More likely, I suspect you've talked awfully big in front of rags you know and are afraid to being made out a mug if they get Sanchez, or if they have a resurgence. Am I close?

We do need him though. How many games have we spurned chance after chance and made easy games a lot more difficult than they should have been. Having to leave players on longer than necessary or bring players on that should have been rested just because we couldn't convert our chances some of them which in all honestly were easy by world class player standards. jesus coming back early or not shouldn't make any difference here as his strike rate this season is pretty ordinary. Get it done city and stop fucking about, now's not the time for penny pinching.

If Sanchez really only wants us Arsenal will realise that in the last few days of the transfer window where they will either sell him or miss out on 20m

I'm with you mate. Imagine someone you really care about being taken for an absolute chump and paying some crook way over the odds for something. How do you feel about it? "Not my money - it's no problem". You're a twat if you feel like that about someone you care about.

Do we care about City? I would hope so. So do we care if we are taken for fools, paying £40m for a player who is knocking on and who is available for nowt in 5 months.

This "it's not my money so who cares" line is utter bollocks. No supporter should utter such shite. If we can get Sanchez for a fair price then great. If not, fuck him and fuck Arsenal.

You see, this is where I am at odds with seemingly so many of my fellow blues.

We have won nothing yet and I still don't consider us home and hosed in the Premier League, much as the national consensus seems to think so.

The margins have been far tighter in the last couple months and could have gone the other way in the blink of an eye.

Sanchez gives us maximum insurance against further injury, a lack of cutting edge, further impacting the psyche of our rivals, both domestically and abroad.

I don't want the Moral Stance Cup, I want the real stuff and Sanchez coming this month could guarantee the difference.

Put it this way, Sanchez in United's team would certainly get them closer to us before the season ends.
I don't always agree about some of the stuff (bollocks!) you post Tolm re transfers, but this is exactly the situation we face. We would improve our squad with this guy, whilst weakening our rivals. Such situations rarely come to pass. Time to be ruthless.
