Don’t believe any of this rag gossip. Alexis is just entertaining a deal to try to get us to up our offer. It’s smart.
The only real options are, he joins us now or he leaves for free in the summer and chooses the club that offer him and his agent the most money. He holds all the cards if he wants to join us then Arsenal will accept our bid in the last days. Better £20m than 0 plus wages for a player that won’t give their all.

Not sure Pep has said anything in the public domain recently. My take on it is that City are interested in Alexis as squad cover but will not pay more than £20m for him.The only true facts are:
-Sanchez has said he wants to play for City
-Guardiola says he wants Sanchez
The rest is bollocks.

At 29years old...30 next Birthday, this likely is his/his agents last big payday at top level. I completely understand if this comes down to money. Even at 30mil for Arsenal and 15mil in fees for Sanchez/agent, we would still be getting a world class forward that can play all across the front line for an absolute bargain. The papers are all over the show. If anything it looks less likely now than it did purely because City have limited their financial commitment when its become clear that the players own terms are going to be very expensive, let alone ArsenalApprantly not in the squad today.. and its looking like hes coming to us according to papers!
