So United blowing us out the water financially are they?
No wonder I've not seen this flag for a while.

Can't stop laughing...

Just read the last few pages, This is awful, I bet the rags sign him at 3.30pm and then announce it at 3.45. That will destroy the teams confidence, we will get hammered by Liverpool as a result. the season wll implode, our owners will get fed up and sell up and we will be back playing Bury in a few years.

To make matters worse the chemist is shut and I have run out of fanny wipes.

Do have to say though he isn't winning the title this year and unlikely next year and by that time he will be 31!

If Cross is saying utd then you cant dismiss it.

It is understood that United are willing to pay Arsenal around £30m, give Sanchez a huge signing-on fee and a bigger contract - worth around £400,000-a-week - than Manchester City. Sanchez's representatives will also get a huge package with United pulling out all of the stops to beat City to his signature.

If he actually goes to United it's because City didn't want to pay up.

For years United have touted themselves as the most desirable destination for a footballer and claimed that the only reason a player would move to City over them is for a big paycheck. Now the exact opposite is true.

Hoddle (I know!) made the comment yesterday about if he came to city now he may feel like he hasn't earned the league title as it is pretty much there already. Interesting comment but I could understand it. So could have to be a champs league chance that draws him and whether he thinks there is a genuine chance.
Otherwise may wait til next season and have a full year at it

The only true facts are:

-Sanchez has said he wants to play for City
-Guardiola says he wants Sanchez

The rest is bollocks.
Sanchez will be a City player by the end of the month.
Another true fact that many on here seem to he ignoring or forgetting, is, he is not a free agent yet and still has a contract at Arsenal.

Hope it ends up like Torres and Falcao.

Not the first time we'd done this. We were offered both Di Maria and Falcao and walked away.

They can have him. He is a great player but not worth 400k a week. No way.

Don’t get me wrong I like him but how many years before he’s on the wain? Happy to sign him but it’s pure desperation for Utd. It’s a shame because he will improve them for a year or so no doubt.

I hope we are well and truly boxing quality players off for the summer.

Financially ive little doubt now that they are willing to spend silly money on a player out of contract in the summer and if so and if that's what motivates Sanchez and his agent then who am i to argue with them.

For a while now our signings have been about not only skill set but the right attitude and money cant buy that.

Brings us back down to earth which may not be the worst thing in the long run. We are not going to get everyone we want just because we are doing well on the field and united are not irrelevant despite all our wishful thinking.

Honestly not really bothered if he goes there. i did want him at the start, but the longer this has gone on the less I want it to happen. The money involved is just crazy for a 29/30 year old.

As much as many people on here love to say the press know nothing, etc. With any transfer as soon as they all start going hyper and they all start reporting the same thing you can safely assume it 99%going to happen.

I was one of many who when I saw the United rumours I just ignored them as it was only one or two and stank of the classic “let’s link a city signing to United for a laugh” but today you will see everyone nailing their opinion to him going to United.

Sadly we have lost this one as I think he would have been a fantastic addition and was desperate for him back in the udinese days but this is now 3 times he has potentially turned us down so he is not gonna be popular at the next derby!!!
