Wenger says it will be decided in next 48 hours ,he is probably being told to sign for United ,by Arsenal
He is needed if it takes another 10 million not to cough up would be a bit silly,signing him would guarantee the premier league
Hes nothing like Rodney Marsh in fact you might say he is the antithesis
 
I seriously hope that the people who are responsible are looking across every league in the world for Kompany's successor, because we certainly need him.

With a player like him in our ranks, we wouldn't have fucked up as badly as we did today .

Pep will have learned such a lot today and to be honest we were the masters of our own downfall .

There is nothing I hate more than hearing this bullshit from any player from outside the UK that comes here, he is moving because they want to pay him a shitload of money, no problem with that but please don't use the "I have always wanted to play for ................" its so untrue.
 
I can’t believe we have let the rags hijack this transfer, please tell me it is not true! I understand the club are having this stance because of what happened in the last transfer window and it would benefit us in future negotiations stopping other clubs taking the p!ss but it is galling.

Be refreshing for a player to say yeah I moved for this huge amount of money and who gives a shit about winning anything that’s just the icing on top.

Yep for sure. As disappointing as defeat is, that will be the best learning experience we have had for some time. Bizarrely I feel quite positive this evening.
 
It is disappointing news as he would good for a couple of seasons but there are younger alternatives (and cheaper for the long run).
 
Really don't know what to think of Sam Lee's reporting anymore, he just puts out a tweet with no source from the club backing it up but his own opinion.

Where is all the contract extensions he said were confirmed before Christmas...

Fred might be a summer buy but also saw in another thread mentioned that we already bid £45m now.

Would rather we buy Maguire for £50m than Evans for £30m. Thought it was a little odd Maguire was commenting on our game on twitter right after we’d been linked with him.

Sessengon looks a real talent but think Bertrand would be a better buy right now, Sessengon is young and we would need him for big games, Bertrand is decent, English and played in a CL final.
 
After today it's clear where our transfer priorities lay... LB and central defense but its hard to swallow my most hated team and most hated coach (currently the same) are possibly hijacking.

Probably smiling deep down,he is a Utd fan ain't he,trying to be impartial is hard,even for the most ardent journalist............surely ?
 
It’s a strange situation all this and I’ve not seen it before. The team that is running away with the league, semi of the LC and in the knockout stages of the CL need the following

A left back
A CB
A DM
A wide player/striker

We ain’t going to sign 4 players in January. Txiki needs to focus on LB and DM in my view.
