Just waiting for the interview now where he praises Maureen, says he is a lifelong Rag and always dreamt of being in the same team as Phil the face.

Stops any challenge from United in the summer on any targets if he joins for the quoted fee insane money even by today's standards.
The team will still earn more than him if they haul in trophies this season, im sure the sheik will award them all handsomely.

Mind-blowing figures. For an initial signing, surely only Neymar and Ronaldo were more expensive. He's a very good player but not that good. Not questioning United, as they are within their rights to spend what they want. He is clearly seen as worth it to them. I am simply making the point that I can understand why we, PSG, Bayern and Chelsea baulked at the demands.

And a crumbling old ground that will need big bucks spent on it to stop its decay......perhaps financed by naming the stadium sponsorship.

How about The Durex stadium .....full of ****s.

Anyone else got any sponsorship ideas for it .....

The Parking Eye stadium - plenty of parking space (for buses) but we’ll expensive and morally bankrupt

Matt Law eh? Anyone more reliable and not an unofficial Chelsea mouthpiece reporting this?

I'm sick of this Sanchez dude.. I'm glad we haven't signed this money grabbing whore. Never needed him anyway hopefully the **** goes to the rags!!! Fingers crossed!

Sorry to be the contrarian but all this laughing and talk of impending implosion at the rags because of this transfer is delusional.

It's the same shit that their fans did to us over the past decade, that the spending is unsustainable, wait until it goes tits up, etc, etc.

If Sanchez helps close the gap on us and helps them win trophies then no one will give a shit about the money.

They've unfortunately gazumped us, made us walk away and got an excellent player.

You win some, you lose some.
In a nutshell. Similar to our Tevez deal. We seemed to be paying way over the odds, but we sent a message: we will pay top drawer fees and blow everyone out of the water to get the very best. Sanchez is world class, as was Tevez. Let's not kid ourselves, we'd be laughing our bollocks off if the roles were reversed.

RE: 180 million for Sanchez, it's just more evidence that City now bring a smart business model to the transfer circus, while our local rivals have morphed into knee jerk throw daft money at a marquee signing clowns, to try to compete at the top.

Satisfied the club has made the right decision to drop out of the Sanchez deal.

You might.

I'd be fucking sick.

Not surprised we held firm with our original deal, no chance are we paying those figures.

From Sanchez' standpoint i'm not surprised he had his head turned, from a footballing viewpoint we had a very good argument but he'll be getting £500k+ before tax when he's 33 years old, mental.

An inconvenient truth.
Although thankfully they a have Mourinho.
