I would argue that especially at home his main job was to support the attack and give us width-he did that on numerous occasions. A double league champion. A great character to boot. His quality from the left will be a lot harder to replace than many haters believe.
 
I'd have said it was impossible for a greater high than seeing Pep earlier. By golly, was I wrong.

Largely this. I'll never forget the game against Villareal at home just before we got the winner (or was it the equaliser)...ball goes out and he's ambling about the place....no urgency. Good luck and thanks.

Exactly - moreso players that contributed to success that we never thought we'd see. It's ridiculous the amount of hate he's received. He's been a great servant to the club and, while it's probably time to part ways, I'll wish him all the best.
 
Good Luck to him. I rated him a lot higher than many did. I think he was really undervalued, but he turned in some very poor performances in the last couple of seasons. Right move for him and the club.

I still remember that crucial goal he scored against Sunderland to make it 3-3 important point as we have found out. One of the best attacking LB's, not so much the other way...

Served the club well, wish him all the best
