Pretty good player but he's a bit too lily livered for me.
A tough guy but ducks too many fights to be considered a good professional.

Don't get the hate for him. A decent player, scored great goals, not the best defensive player but not terrible as some are making out.
That's bluemoon for you, half on here will now be thinking Danny Rose is world class FFS

I dont get this 'tough guy' thing.

Its certainly the persona he likes to portray, but the evidence,to suggest its true, just isnt there.....he struts about like he owns the place, obviously loves himself but whenever the chips are down, like a decent 50/50.....he nearly always goes missing - hes nothing more than a charlatan for me,and thats without mentioning his alleged technical ability.

There arent many players i wish had never been afforded the privilege of our shirt, but he's right up there.

I thought it was the midfield that was shit most of last season, mainly made our whole defence look poor !
The whole team was disorganized defensively. No pressure from Aguero and Bony up top, Yaya and Silva often meandering defensively, Delph and sometines Dihno turninf over possession in misfdield, Ota going Rambo and chasing down every ball with little regards to positions, Komps committing unnecessary fouls, Mangala being shaky on the ball and often given a turnover assist by passing to Hart who punts it towards Aguero in between two taller bigger defenders, Demi sucking, Kolarov not giving a fuck.

There was enough blame and problems defensively in every sector.

That said, Kolarov is a game killer. He makes poor decisions in possession, is terrible at simply circulating the ball, he believes a lot in his clearly inferior dribbling skills, whips the ball in with no regards to movement in the box or lack thereof, takes I'll advised shots from extreme angles on buildups. And on top of all that, he is not even particularly good defensively. Not positionally, not in the tackle, nor even on effort.

He is and has always been an awful player. Both for club and country. Our biggest improvement will come from him leaving. He is in my opinion the worst type of player, with some talent, no brain and a general lack of effort. Yuk!!! I'll take any average player over him.

Kolarov shirt owner here, I admit he wasn't all the best defensively but he was always good going forward and was the best crosser of the ball we had. Also those free kicks were amazing. You kind of take the good with bad and his offensive prowess could make you overlook the defensive lapses.

Everything changed for after that Southhampton game. He was out on the pitch to prove a point that he was miffed about missing the champs league semi. (I don't know why though, Clichy had been playing well and he, Kolarov, had been dog shit.) I agree, everyone was bad that day, but Kolarov took it to another level of actively trying to stink the place out. It was embarrassing. It was disrespectful to everyone. It was unsportsmanlike and cowardly. I can forgive most things but he can get fucked.
