Kolarov would struggle to make Top 10 in the EPL for his position. Whilst Zabba is on the decline, he has a lot further to go because he was that much better than Kolarov ever was.

Kolarov has easily been one of the top 3 or so left backs in the league at times. As long as Alves and Lahm have been playing Zaba hasn't been the best in the world. Comparing current Kolarov to the best of Zab is a bit disingenuous and is kind of indicative of the negative spin on some players and rose-tinted view of others.
