This is what I don't understand.

ITN asked him to engage more on tw@er. Either let him be himself, get him a ghost writer if they want to avoid controversy or ask him to delete his account.

They did none of these things. He sailed close to wind with defending people, but as long as he didn't, what was the issue?

It's been pathetic as a reaction.

I see this thread is full of the same people saying the same old tired cliches. It's one person on a social media platform, that's it, nothing more. All this Left/Right bullshit... "snowflake" this "RWNJ" that. Don't both sides see that you are both being played like a fiddle by the governments and institutions using the media to keep us arguing amongst ourselves, to keep us blaming those who need our help and compassion. They don't want another Mohamed Bouazizi. If they can keep the working class blaming the jobless, the addicted, the immigrants then we won't look up at the rest moving away from us. They stay in power and we have our "Bread and Circuses" Stop letting the media whip you into a frenzy about differences that don't exist. Be smarter on both sides of the argument. Automation will start the "Spring" they dread soon enough anyway.
