'All Or Nothing' - discussion of documentary

Their pain is a delight to read.

I particularly liked the comment that the rags should make one, but only release it is they win the PL or CL.

I can hardly wait.
On the bright side = by the time they next win it we can all watch it on our holodecks.

Now I know my own brain could do with a few laps, but some fuckin idiot on there thinks we made it because we won the league :D

IMO it reflects poorly because Pep is telling him his ideas about why we lost a match are bullshit. How thinking winning individual battles is the problem is completely and utterly wrong.

To be the one player shouting about us losing because we lost individual battles and have the manager to say pretty much "no, that's bullshit, your idea of keeping it simple is wrong" in front of everyone isn't a great moment for him, and then Pep has to tell the squad not to focus on the bullshit idea of football being simple, but to keep doing the complicated stuff they've been doing all season.

Delph is basically falling back on the old dinosaur english 'stick it up em' approach when we lose, and after 2 years you'd hope that he'd be thinking more like Pep.

Hopefully he'll have learned from it. Overall I think he comes across really well in the series.

Whilst it isn’t black and white if the players carried on running and followed their runners. The players they are making in them individual battles then we wouldn’t have conceded the goals. Don’t concede them goals and you don’t lose the game. Like I said it’s not as simple as that but it’s true in a sense. Doesn’t reflect badly on him because as I say again tactics and overall play isn’t his department is it. His passion and anger was brilliant in that clip, you used his first full season in the first team as a negative, how about him having the balls to talk up in a down, dejected and quiet dressing room especially considering he’s in a dressing room full of superstars in comparison to him. Whilst we can argue his actual words and reasons if anything it only looks positive for him.

LAST POST ON THE SUBJECT BUT...

we all need to rate All or Nothing on the Amazon website with FIVE STARS. Thanks for all that have done that already.

10% of the 71 ratings are one star. Madness!

No he mentioned the two games above which Yaya scored in both and changed the tide for the foreseeable future
It wasn't Kompany actually; my mistake there. It was the fella doing the commentary on the OS. Episode 8, 32:14 in; "Eighty two goals (most of them memorable), three Premier League titles, three League Cups, two FA Cups..."

Now, granted; that's not Amazon's fault per se. It wasn't Ben Kinglsey who said it.
