'All Or Nothing' - discussion of documentary

I'll rewatch but I could have sworn it was Spanish Dave.

BTW, as I'm watching the 7th episode I'm reminded that if City ever got a fair shake from the refs they might have won the CL three or four times. Penalties are never given, goals are never allowed.

Fuck UEFA

Mate, episode 7 was a fucking painful watch, I had to have a snack break after that to stop me throwing myself off the balcony.

I've been watching it while visiting my mother in the hospital. She almost died last week but has been making slow progress and is close to being out of the woods. Nothing reminds you that it's just a game like a reality check like this. Episode 7 merely tells me that while we've experienced some great moments as fans that there are more highs to be achieved. Tomorrow is another day and Pep is the guy to take City there. The thought that Aguero's moment in 2012 or this past season can (and will be) topped makes us the luckiest fans in the world.

Sorry mate, I was only messing about regarding throwing myself off the balcony. It was a tough week as a fan and was irritating watching it back, but of course it pales in to insignificance compared with real life family matters.

I hope you’re ok and that your mum makes a full and speedy recovery.

No need to apologize, I was just pointing out that my circumstances made me perceive it in a much different way than I normally would have.

Just finished the 8th episode and all I can think of is

100 points, 100 points Man City
100 points, 100, points I say
100 points, 100 points Man City
Playing football the Guardiola way!!!

I reckon his knowledge on it is probably quite good.

But I’m not sure a bunch of 6 year olds are quite ready for a debate on apartheid and the nuances of the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist though?
“His only crime was being black”

Anyway, you think he knows more, I don’t. Great.

When vinny Told his father in law
He lives in the past..
Brilliant

Finished this last night and thought it was great.

A few things stood out.

Couldn’t help but feel a bit sorry for Sergio, when seeing the impact of being away from his son for three weeks a month.

David Silva is truly a legend and deserves so much credit for being mentally and emotionally tough. Touched me seeing him straight back in the dressing room after the game to check his son’s wellbeing on his phone.

Pep and the team were as focussed on the goals and 100 points as we all were. Pep really does let the whole thing consume him.

All of our players came across really well and despite being record breakers still maintained a degree of humility, despite what PEG claims.
Pep mentioned sir baconface when receiving his own award is testament to that. The way they interact with and give credit to all of the staff was also nice to see.

A few of my non supporting City mates have also said similar things to the above.

What great times we are living in.

Shame they didn't show the dressing room celebrations after the derby win-maybe in the xmas out takes edition.

You don't think Vincent Kompany knows about the history of the great Nelson Mandela? Because he said to kids when asked quite a difficult, potentially controversial, question about what Mandela was charged with and why he spent so long in prison?

So did you take him literally on his word then?
