New fans are attracted to winners,they like to associate themselves with glory,hence the term......The type of fans we are now attracting followed Liverpool in the 80's,the rags in the 90's and Chelsea since Abramovich - That's the reason.I was already a fan of City for nearly a decade and was predisposed to enjoy this content.

Far, far more important for me is the style of football that City play - exciting, attacking, high scoring football - and our success - winning the P/L 3 times in recent years as well as League Cup and FA cup wins.

Contrast this to the "genius" of Woodward - hiring a defense-first manager and then not backing him in the transfer market. ManU play boring, unwatchable football, aren't successful, and if you're an outsider, it's very hard to see why you'd ever want to route for ManU. Were Amazon to do a similar documentary about ManU, it would have no effect on prospective new viewership IMO.
After watching it all, I really don’t understand where Moaninho comes from, in regards to the class comment. Okay I am someone who has looked through blue tinted glasses for almost 50 years, but I think even someone who is a neutral, shouldn’t see anything derogatory in the contents.
