As impeccable one alludes to, being Amazon they focus heavily on streaming. You would indeed need them encoded to mpeg-2 and put into a dvd structure(vobs) then burn to disk. Not burned for years but tpmgenc was a good one click solution for that.

Settings> Applications> Managed Installed Applications> Scroll down to Video> Force Stop> Clear Data and restart your Fire TV. This is a geo location issue.

I was thinking more as a legitimate product to buy rather than ripped-off over the internet. Sounds like a "no" then!
