All our shortcomings at once....

Oh dear. There are three possible results from any game of football. One of those options is 'lose'.

Maybe our spoilt fans have become far too used to not losing.

Judging by this and other threads so far.

I agree, we should be happy that we are playing like this.
This - gutted today

Still in shock at what I watched this evening, one of the worst 90 mins I've seen in a long time. Set me thinking though that nearly everything that is wrong or been a worry reared it's ugly head in that 90 mins.

Hart, looked ropey.
Lescott, piss poor.
Garcia, utterly woeful and painfully slow.
Barry, too slow.
Yaya, disinterested and shouldn't be playing from deep.
Nasri, disgrace to the blue shirt.
Dzeko, bar his goal utter shite.
Dzeko and Aguero doesn't work.
No pace.
No width.
Clueless substitutions.

Feel sorry for Merlin and Sergio as they deserve to have better players around them.

Sorry but Silva and Aguero have been pretty shit recently they can all fuck off for me after that shite

hate getting beat but not when 11 players cant be fucking arsed

I'm not excusing Merlin and Sergio from their poor form, however they are world class players that Bob is not utilizing correctly and getting the best out of them. Sergio should be on his own up front and Merlin pulling the strings in a free role.

Merlin was abysmal and Sergio while he ran a bit was totally ineffective.

That's my point though. They are both, without a shadow of doubt, world class players and therefore shouldn't be looking so out of form. Sergio is suffering from playing alongside Dzeko when he should be on his own up top, and Merlin shouldn't be playing out wide.

Sergio is suffering playing along side or in front of anyone this season. He certainly does better playing with Dzeko rather than with Tevez. So what is your point exactly? Is it that it is not his fault? That he has some sort of escape clause from picking up his share of the blame? Because on his showing yesterday he patently does have to share some (to a lot) of the blame. He was poor. Worse than Dzeko who at least scored.

See above.

We should be playing 4-2-3-1 and not 4-4-2, it's unexcusable imo.

Bob has built a one dimensional squad and seems intent on making it look worse than it should.

Silva and Nasri aren't wingers and Yaya shouldn't be playing so deep. When was the last time we saw Yaya do one of his lung bursting runs that he became so famed for last season?

Not a good enough excuse Rammy.

Sergio was total dross yesterday - Far worse than Dzeko who scored (and got into space to receive a defence splitting pass that was never played when it should have been on a further 10 or so occasions).

Ridiculous that Sergio is one of the first to get blamed for last night. While he might have been ineffective he still tried to attack and got stuck in, just nobody around him was interested. Nasri as has been said, was a disgrace to the shirt he wore.

We were lucky not to get beat 5-1 as that's the way it looked it was going.

Losing the title would be less of a blow if we stuck another 6 past them so they couldn't win the title on that day.
