I've had several German shepherds through out my lifetime.
10 year's ago my wife talked me into getting a smaller dog.
We've got two morkies now and it's alot easier not hoovering up twice a day and plenty of room in bed or on the settee.

Having dogs around since I can remember and now I’m 51, my advice would be getting a pedigree dog doesn’t necessarily mean better.
Had both pedigree and non pedigree and I’ve bigger health problems with the pedigree dogs.
So has my mum with German Shepherd’s.
Worth every penny though.

Maybe you’ve heard the story. On Tuesday dog walkers van was stolen, with a total of 7 dogs on board, all dumped by the **** thieves. 6 of the dogs were found not long after, all except Frankie, who was missing since then until today! She’s been out in the wind and rain all on her own.

A group called Huddersfield Canine Search and Rescue got involved and after sightings and using various bits of kit, they located her. This is the reunion with her owner, who has been posting and worried beyond belief

(May the twats who stole the van meet an unfortunate demise).

Our dog Cali is having a polyp removed from her ear today. She will most likely be deaf in that ear and there is a 1 in 3 chance she will loose the use of her eyelid as well.
Has anyone else had their dog go through this procedure. Am really worried for her.

Blue was at the vet yesterday for an inspection of a lump on her rear thigh. Photos taken and reassessment in 6 weeks for changes in size and colour. Here she is enjoying the sun with Bess.

We have had good service from them since our own independent practice was bought by a conglomerate with links to diagnosis, treatment, pharma supply and insurance, and fees skyrocketed.
