I can see how Horlock can be a self-acquired taste. But some of my most memorable City moments, and this from someone who didnt follow City during and before Uwe, was watching Danny play. Yes he had a fallout with the manager but on the field I believe he contributed to our promotion. A bit part of his game is of course to do with the players around him too but he added some ground to our game and was ruthless during our 3-1 win in Maine Road. Didn't he win a player of the season for that or the season next?

I might just be in the Tiatto tinted specs camp love-in as I didnt get a chance to watch the city legends listed here, although if there was really an all-time lineup, GK = Trautmann.
