All-time City XI

Trautmann

Zabba kompany Watson hinchcliffe

KDB Bell Yaya Barnes

Silva

Aguero

Subs Francis sterling kinky lake Laporte Dinho

Not seen Bert play but well it’s Bert Trautmann innit. Wish I had seen Bell. Fuck it putting him in sorry Dinho

Dowd /Mulhearn , Book , Pardoe , Doyle , Heslop , Oakes , Summerbee , Bell , Lee , Young , Coleman sub Connor

They played on paddy field pitches and the most honest bunch of grafters i have ever seen , with a lot of skill sprinkled throughout the team , Neil Youngs left peg is as good as anything i have seen and he never even made an England squad , that's how underrated this team was.

Picking only the players I've seen......(first game 1979)
1, Hart

2, Walker
3, Hinchcliffe
4, Kompany
5, Curle

7, Sterling
8, Silva
6, Yaya
11, Kinky

9, Aguero
10, Tevez

Can't believe I can't find a place for KDB...... but 2014 Yaya basically won us the title he was so dominant, also Lake under Pep would have perhaps been the best player-manager fit of all time he would be the worlds best Centre-Back I have no doubt about that

Its funny it's much harder to pick that team, as much as I disliked Hughes, I would have to take issue with Ball not getting the Managers job!!! and I think Wayne Clarke and Adrian Heath need a mention as a strike pair their ability to look like they would never be able to find the back of the net together was something they must have actively worked on it.
