YeahYes fair point. Another thing I meant to mention was that I was astounded to find out that the following four songs were only ever singles and not on a proper Beatles album:-
Paperback Writer
Day Tripper
We Can Work It Out
Hey Jude
My God! Can you imagine any other artist in history excluding these from an album?
There were others,

Yes fair point. Another thing I meant to mention was that I was astounded to find out that the following four songs were only ever singles and not on a proper Beatles album:-

With a bit of hindsight and less commercial pressure the beatles could have released 6 or 7 albums that would have been absolute perfection.

I like 3 radiohead songs which is 2 more than the Willie Dixon tribute band aka zeppelin so game on.

As usual, this thread is great for promoting discussion between members. Didn't think I'd spend most of the week listening to Beatles albums, but I've enjoyed it. Anyway, I think it's opened up the possibility of a couple of future threads.
1. A top 100 Beatles songs thread. They've got enough to choose from, have a lot of fans on here, and it seems that a lot of other people (me included) care enough to comment on their albums/songs.
2. We had top 100 songs and albums, but I don't think we ever had a top 100 music artists vote, did we? Can see this being very popular and leading to lots of healthy debate.
