Allardyce leaves job after Telegraph sting

If you watch the whole video, he hasnt done anything sackable from what i can see. He clearly tells them to back off twice and that certain things are out of order. He just explained how to buy a third party player ? and that you can invest in them in countries outside of the premier leauge.
Yep, he's a shining light of respectability is our Sam.

Come on lads, don't know why more of you didn't see this coming, the poor chap has to eat 30 tonnes of chips a day just to maintain his weight, how's he supposed to do that on his meager salary?
Agreed, I've heard that down South some chip shops make you pay extra if you want a bag of scraps, so no wonder he needs a bit more cash

He talked about how to get around FA rules
He slagged off his employers the FA
He took the piss out of the last manager Roy
He negotiated a £400k deal

Any one of them would get an average person sacked from their job I don't see why Fat Sam should be any different?

Correct. Its unprofessional and gross misconduct as far as im concerned.

I'm just thinking on whom I'm going to sue, when it all comes out that it's been corrupt, and fixed ever since day 1,I suppose the FA is the first place to start, closely by the Prem League,If I could get all my money back what I have spent over the years I'll be able to retire, and go and sit in the sun somewhere

Unlike most on here, I have always had a lot of time for Sam Allardyce. Think he is excellent at what he does and unfairly maligned by many. Hope he gets sacked though, if for no other reason than being a disgustingly greedy ****. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

I think he's a complete idiot for putting himself in that position and he's guilty of being extremely unprofessional, but i don't think in terms of what he's said is its massively out of order.

He was bang on the money about Hodgson and Neville (though showed himself up with the pathetic Woy comment)
He talks about 3rd party ownership and no doubt loopholes are common knowledge if you really want to do that. He wasn't saying he'd done it, just that it could be done.
He tells them to shut up when talking about bungs.
He is negotiating being a key speaker in the far east - they don't specifically say what for so thats open to interpretation.

What pisses me off is the media. They cannot wait to drag us down at any cheap attempt. When we do nothing ion the WC in 2 years time, the same paper will be demanding answers as to why we struggle.

Can't see the Telegraph releasing this unless they have summat big,the whole footballing world is onto it.
We will find out in the coming weeks I suppose.
The Telegraph, specifically Paul Kelso I believe, were given some earth-shattering stuff some time ago with clear evidence of large-scale corruption in the game including phone call recordings/transcripts and suspicious betting patterns but they never ran it. Yet they managed to run a headline splash with a nasty little sting. If it's a taster for some of the big stuff they already have that they're going to throw in then fine. But if it's just minor league stuff then it'll garner a few headlines but be next week's chip-paper.
