Allardyce leaves job after Telegraph sting

Are you being serious?

he is the manager of arguably the highest profile International side in the world and the FA's most important employee.

Forget being filmed secretly, he has allowed himself, through greed to be in a situation like that and he has told them there are ways round rules, his own employer vigorously enforces and he has explained how to do it.

If you dont think thats unprofessional or gross misconduct then fine but i will wager his bosses do.

Youre emoloyer would be fully versed in the way of commerce. He was talking about a job offer that he is fully allowed to do. You can take a second job ? A contract can not remove anyones stat rights. So nothing wrong in that ?

He never said anything illegal, Just said what we all already know. Premier leauge clubs sign players that have unofficial third party owners via what ever loophole. Id say Toure and his agent are an example of this, he is owned by city, but i bet his agent owns the company Toures serivces are paid to.

So he made fun of a former manager. He wasnt abusive, suggestive or all that off the mark tbf.

Once the conversation turned towards things thag where 100% illegal in football, he stopped that line of conversation instantly.

Greed is not accepting money for a job.. He makes a living from Football and his reputation.

I remeber certain players from Citys dressing room openly critisise Mancini when he left. No one sacked Vinny or Joe. They did it in public via mainstream media an walked away scott free.. a sly recording that included comments only the very soft of arse would be offended by, its harldy a reason to take to the streets and cry upset.

Has to be sacked as he has brought the reputation of his employee into disrepute, hasn't he?

How you holding up Sam? Want me to pop to McDonald's for you, help cheer you up?

doesnt he name an agent(which is blanked out),saying "he's been doing it for years"?
Do you think the FA will want that name?
Also if BFS has dealt with said agent, would them transfers not be investigated, and possibly other transfers?

He talked about how to get around FA rules
He slagged off his employers the FA
He took the piss out of the last manager Roy
He negotiated a £400k deal

Any one of them would get an average person sacked from their job I don't see why Fat Sam should be any different?
Yeah but he did these things in private. You can slag your boss off all you want in private.

I want him sacked as he's useless but I'd feel uneasy if he was sacked for comments made in private. Feels very much like entrapment.

FA response will be guided by the selection process they have just been through.

If his selection was sold within the FA as by far the best alternative to the 2nd &

3rd on the list and there are no new options that have come available or likely to

be available, then they will try to delay and hope the storm dies down or the paper

moves onto ohers who may have been implicated in more clear cut or illegal and

his actions look minor on comparison if they want to keep him. On the other hand

he may not have been first choice or first choice may have regretted not taking it

in which case the FA will hang him out to dry to get whoever was their first choice..

I feel sorry for him, his pie bill must be fucking huge

Its completely naive to think anything you ever say in public and this was in a public situation with people he didn't know can ever be seen as private mate.

he is the England football manager with all the media intrusion that brings. Every word and action is constantly under scrutiny and it goes with the territory as well he knows.

Won nothing for 50 years. Dumped out of the Euros by Iceland. Fat Sam as manager.

Why anyone cares about the England team is beyond me.

It only has comedic value and this latest episode is just part of that.
