It's called entrapment. They justify this behaviour by pointing out the 'public interest'. I'm not a Sam apologist.
Think about this - imagine a sting against Pep. I'm not saying he would fall for it, but don't believe these people aren't thinking about it.

The fuckers, actually doing some investigative journalism, how dare they spend 10 months looking into the issue of money and corruption in the game. The large over hanging clitorises.
Hardly entrapment, Sam wasn't induced to do or say anything. He knew what he was saying, and good on the Telegraph for putting it out. Not like they're tapping dead kid's phones here. You would strongly believe that someone like Pep (and countless other managers) wouldn't touch this stuff with a barge pole.

It isnt entrapment, they filmed him being an odious greedy fucker, he didnt have to take the meeting, he didnt have to slag off the players, the former manager and say how to get around third party ownership, he'd been in the job only weeks when he took this meeting, he was already trying to get as much as he could out of the position. The Telegraph have been carrying out a 10 month investigation into corruption there is more to come apparently. I think there should be more investigative journalism like this, rather than just making stuff up, like a lot of football stories are.
