Allardyce leaves job after Telegraph sting

I was ranting on just yesterday to a rag and a spurs supporter about corruption in the English game, they tried to dismiss me as a deluded lottery winning City fan.
Get yourself on the phone to the stables and get yer high horse out, then trot down to see those two cunts with a huge smug grin on yer face.

to me this is the most interesting part of the article

The Telegraph began investigating corruption in English football last year after receiving information that specific managers, officials and agents were giving or receiving cash payments to secure player transfers.

Over the coming days, the Telegraph will detail a series of allegations of financial impropriety in British football which raise serious questions about the governance and influence of money within the game.
Christ, I'd be stunned if anyone is making any money from the Scottish or Welsh FAs! Someone might have got a £50 bung from a transfer......

But there are ways round third party ownership. We have bought players who were under that arrangement. Without any meat on the bones he can easily worm his way out of that. Indeed he's wormed he way out of more telling evidence in the past.

It's not really about 'meat on the bones'. As far as I'm concerned, he's guilty of conduct unbecoming

Regardless of the 'meat in the bones' - he is in a hotel/resturant talking about bungs, potentially ways around rules and fellow professionals. All to get himself an extra few bob

Read his book last year, my conclusion was that he made Harry redknap look straight.

Vile fat arrogant bastad.

It's bent as fuck. When you tell people this you are told you are paranoid. Naive to think the biggest part of the football market in the world is free from corruption.

Not a chance in hell will the FA sack him for this. It's too embarrassing for them.

They will sweep it under the rug and find a way of redirecting the attention elsewhere. Someone will cop a heavy price, but it won't be Sam.

Like Squirty says it's the officials line which should surely be the most shocking thing to come out of this, not to everyone obviously. Also wonder who passed this information on to the telegraph in the first place.

Keeping him is more embarrassing, but if they fire him they will have to search for a new manager, which requires doing work, so you're probably right.

The funniest thing about all this is hearing fat Sam's sycophantic pals in the media, the sports hacks who turned a blind eye, insisting that he can survive this. Having read the first instalment it is certain that the FA will have to sack him. His credibility and authority is shredded and he can't be a leader for English football, How predictable that on Talksport Brazil criticises the "people who set Sam up." We will hear the same platitudes we heard when the Telegraph exposed MPs for being "pigs in the trough." City fans, more than most, know that the Governance of football is rotten to the core here and abroad. It's time the game was cleaned up properly.

We've always known Big Sam is a dodgy dealer. One does have to ask "Do bears deficate in areas if high leaf density?"

Can't see him being sacked for this.

But I am looking forward to the other investigations that the Telegraph will release in the upcoming weeks.

Gill " lads - we are gonna need a bigger carpet , get Bill on the phone, - for now just shift that Halsey allegation and real/fake bomb out of the way until it arrives "

Greed, greed, greed, greed. The whole fucking world is full of greedy cunts who just can't cram enough fucking money into their bank accounts.

I'm sure there's a carpet in the FA HQ just waiting for this story to be swept under.

Oh, there's more during the week - an assistant manager has been upto summat and there's a few other odds and sods ready for divulging. How many pages have been written on this forum about corruption in the game? I think the only ones who can't have the finger pointed at them re snouts in trough, greed, and corruption within the game are the fans.

Why do we wait so long for video tech?

Read Burford in KotK re our 'draws' in the CL!

The DT could fill a fifty page supplement every day with doubtful practices within the game.

And today we get Brailsford, knight of the realm, telling us he didn't know that asthma drugs enhanced performance!
