Like Squirty says it's the officials line which should surely be the most shocking thing to come out of this, not to everyone obviously. Also wonder who passed this information on to the telegraph in the first place.

The funniest thing about all this is hearing fat Sam's sycophantic pals in the media, the sports hacks who turned a blind eye, insisting that he can survive this.
