you have to remember the hardship the OP had to go through to watch the game
after all there's an eight hour time difference between LA and Manc therefore his expectancy levels are much higher than ours


unlike us lucky sods who fall out of bed and into the ground, free entry and free beer and food, then stroll out in our jammies and back to bed
we have lower expectations because we have shittier existences and live on handouts from club and country

Do you really think that if we hadn't scored that goal, we would have played the rest of the game out the same way? How do you know we wouldn't have ended up with Dzeko, Balo, Tevez and Silva on for the last 20 min. going all out to get a goal? I don't care that we were defensive, we won and that's the name of the game. It's not rocket science to understand that when we are passing the ball around, sideways and backwards, that we are trying to get the opposition to loose their shape and therefore create an opening. We can't just run into 11 defenders and expect to score.
