Jesus when he first hit the field for us seemed he'd truly be special- It just never really materialized as hoped. Alvarez has different qualites but i'd agree more upside at this point in his career.

Looking at him last season and his River Plate last season before City signed him, the difference in his finishing is light years apart. I’m talking about taking the chances and finishing, regardless of the defending, which is better in the PL. The FA Cup final miss being a prime example of what I mean.

So the BBC is wittering on about Julián maybe leaving. I don't know about anyone else, but I honestly think it would be the direst mistake in current circumstances. This may seem like heresy, after that ridiculous first season, but I'm still not absolutely sure about Erling, and I'm not sure that the rest of his game, other than his finishing, will ever truly suit City. I'd want Julián around for at least another season.
