Alvaro Negredo - How do you remember him?

I really expected him to go back to Spain and be a superstar in their league, based on how good he was in the first six months here, but it didn’t really happen. When you look at the quality of the 5 or 6 players celebrating that Spurs goal with him, it is perhaps the real reason he was looking so good and full of confidence.

Was also that goal he scored against Bayern from around the edge of the box.

Wasn't quite as skilful from memory, but definitely the bigger goal - they were around the peak of their power then.

Think that’s where we nearly nicked a draw after getting rings ran round us by Pep’s Bayern for 75 minutes.
 
Journeyman pro who had an amazing 6 months in the biggest league in the world for a club on the up.

After the said 6 months he reverted to a journeyman, but those 6 months he was simply outstanding and a pleasure to watch.
