I agree. He was brilliant and it stopped. I think we were 9 nil up when he fell. Tragic.

I heard, from a very good source, that it was something to do with a horse with no name.
I was in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, that night, watching it in a bar with my daughter. 2 West Ham fans, on seeing my City polo shirt, asked me the score, so I told them "3-0 on the night, 9-0 on aggregate, and they've been lucky to get the Nil!"

My feelings towards him were always slightly off because of my wife's emotional state whenever he was in the team. He made my inadequacies as a man/husband more obvious. Those inadequacies are once again becoming obvious as she's exactly the same with Ruben!!!

Loved him. As others have said it was such a shame he never truly recovered from that shoulder injury. On his day he was one of the most well rounded strikers I have seen at City.
