I have been a member of a supporters club branch which is exactly how I know how corrupt the distribution can be. Like the OP, I have had people bragging to me about being guaranteed tickets for the derby for example when they're not even season ticket holders never mind regular away game attendees.

well then its the members fault for letting that particular branch get corroupt

i have only got an away ticket from a supporters club once and will not do so again. i went to liverpool away last season. i went with a few mates, none of us were members of the supporters club but we heard there were tickets going so we contacted the supporters club. the reason i will not be getting tickets this way again is because we had to pay 12 pound more than face value of the ticket, with a tenner on top of that for the coach. utter piss take i thought but we were up for it at the time so just paid it. i dont know whether this goes on all the time or whether we paid extra because we wernt members.

what was the extra 12 for maybe it was to become a member nothing to do with the ticket

either way, and the point you continually duck, he should not have been allowed one

OK, I asked a question of the OP on page 13 of this thread.......... no response......... so I looked at every page again (yes I know I am a sad person but it beats doing the housework!!) and the OP made the statement/asked the question and has not been seen since! So either he DID want to get people complaining about the OSC and is just a trouble stirrer or he is appearing here with a different name ...... I know what my opinion is!!

The OP is definitely a HE!! I don't see why you're looking for a conspiracy theory - surely he'd just come out and openly slag the OSC off if he wanted to?!!

Don't know about earning loyalty points - I had 1400 taken off me!

ring customer services they'll sort it out for you

If only it was that simple - hospitalised abroad towards end of 03/04 season - unable to renew season ticket i had for 20 years - only able to get to first game next season in March by purchasing membership and converting loyalty points on to it. 1400 loyalty points taken off for not renewing season ticket.

Loyalty sucks - it's a one way street!

Let me ask you this: do you think it's fair that members of the OSC with limited loyalty points should get tickets before (maybe even instead of) non members with higher loyalty points?

is it fair to give people with low points tickets on here

the supporters club get a small % of tickets they will get more for spurs away than blackpool but we didnt hear many arguing then

it wasnt to become a member. we never even attended the supporters club. we were told to meet at the coach at 8am in the morning. the ticket cost 50odd quid with a tenner on top for the coach. it was only when we got on the coach that we noticed we had paid 12 pound over the face value. becoming a member was never mentioned at all.

i was offered four tickets for the hamburg away game by a member of an OSC
he had got the tickets through his branch

by the time he'd added the additions on it felt like i was back with Brown as chancellor and a new footie stealth tax
