Amazing co-incidences....any stories?

I was at our first school reunion since leaving school one weekend, and we got talking about a portrait of a fellow school mate that I'd drawn as part of my school exam nearly thirty years before. As he wasn't at the reunion we all wondered what he was up to as he seemed to be the only one not there and that no one had seen in thirty years. Guess who came to empty my bins on the Monday morning with me nursing a hangover?!

Is this a trick question....??

Once back when I was 15 I'd just come round from having major reconstructive surgery on the bones in my left foot.

My parents were there, so I sat and spoke to them as I got over the grogginess of it all. Then they decided to go for a coffee, so they left me a paper to read whilst they were gone. I started flicking through, and decided that for a bit of fun I'd have a read of my horoscope. I don't usually read them. I turned to mine and it said something to the effect:

"You may be feeling tired and depressed today, but don't worry, you'll be running, skipping and jumping for joy in no time."

...

I haven't run since.
