In 2001 or 2002,had a dream i was a pilot crashing my plane into a building in Italy, screaming and shouting in italian. woke up sweating and panicking. the next day a guy flew his plane into a building in Milan.

I had 2 similar to this. Had a dream as a kid of a big white jumbo bouncing up a street, day or two later lockerbie happened. about a year or so later give or take a few months another dream where a another blue and white plane crashed in my mates back garden, a day or so later a blue and white midlands plane crashed right next to a motorway. Both planes looked virtually the same and i told people about the dreams before the real crashes happend too. Freaked me out.

EDIT; just had a check, Kegworth air disaster the 2nd one was.

I had a dream about a plane crashing into Lake Geneva (was there a couple of months before) and the next day the Swissair plane crashed on the way from New York to Geneva

If any of you have any dreams like this again, be sure to warn me straight away so I know not to fly for the next couple of days.

We can joke about it but, fuck me, it shits you up at the time. Must've had 20 plane crash dreams in my life so I read nothing into it except huge coincidence (although I see a crash in Europe where a young Aussie blue gets his head pulped :-0)

Once when I used to work in matalan while in College a bloke came in without the card, with there being an offer on I asked if he wanted me to print off a temporary pass so he could get the discount. Filled in his details, (you only needed to get the postcode and surname) typed it in and the fucking card was only registered to Rosemary West 25 Cromwell Street. My fucking blood ran cold.

Heard a story a long time ago about a couple who had met at University but were from towns in completely different parts of the country

They were browsing in a second hand shop and the lad was looking at an old black and white framed photo of two random little kids playing in the sand on the beach. The lad shouted his missus over as to his amazement he realised it was him playing and his mam and dad were sat in deck chairs behind him laughing and joking with another couple

His missus took a look then went white.... as it suddenly dawned on her that the little girl he was playing with was her and the couple his parents were talking to were her mam and dad
Reminds me of a similar one. Went to the funeral of my ex-wife's uncle and were back at the house. One of my old school friends, Joe, was also there so we were having a good chin wag and ignoring the women. My wife then came along with a wedding picture of her aunt and uncle where she was one of the two bridesmaids and it turned out that Joe's wife was the other one.

Two that spring to mind...

I was in the pub one evening when a guy that moved to town only recently walked in, my dads mate immediately leaped up and gave him a hug. Turns out they had both worked in the mines in Zambia some 40 years ago and performed in a play together out there, both of them had no previous ties to the area they had moved into.

The second one involves an old boy who used to live across the road from me. During the HT of opening game of the season (Spurs Vs City, Joe Hart stormer) I happened to be looking out the window when I saw Frank who was in his 80s tumble off the pavement and bang his head on to the road. I obviously went out to his assistance and another neighbour of mine took him to hospital. Roll on a year and I am watching Newcastle Vs Arsenal on the opening day of the season when I hear a knock on the door. It was Frank whom I had not seen since the incident a year previous. He thanked me for helping him out and offered me £10 to buy myself a few pints. I thought it was a funny coincidence that he had knocked on my door on the opening day of the season again etc.... The very next year it was again the opening day of the season. I had a text through from my mother telling me that Frank had sadly passed away that morning.

Me & 3 mates (all blues) went on a drive your own car holiday around Europe in 1972.
First night stayed in a guest house in Dover run by an older couple.
At breakfast the following morning, I asked where they were from, as they had northern accents. Up until then they'd hardly said a word to us. The woman said that they were from Bardsley, between Ashton & Oldham, and had bought the B&B when they retired.
I said I was from Ashton, and the others were from Mossley, Audenshaw & Blackley.
I asked her where she used to work, and she said Kerfoot Pharmacuticals in Bardsley Vale. I told her my auntie Ruth worked there. She asked me for her surname, and it turned out that she worked next to her in the factory!
We got extra breakfast before we went, and a great welcome when we came back 2 weeks later!

Well what a coincidence that is I started work at Kerfoots in 1981 and I am still there. ( It’s not called Kerfoots anymore )
