America Bombs Venezuela

He won't risk Greenland. Have no doubts, he'd love to. He'd also love to grab Canada, because he's a narcissistic, war-mongering, imperialist aspirant. But there's simply no political capital or pretext he can cook up to do something so audacious. The Venezuelan pretext worked because Maduro is a tyrant, and he can convince the malleable that Venezuelan drugs are decaying the US (they need to look a lot fucking closer to home) and thus don his shining armour, break international law, and get away with it. He wouldn't be able to do the same with Greenland or Canada. He'll install his pathetically weak, sycophantic envoys and try bargaining (because everything is a business deal for the ****) without escalating militarily, but that's as far as it will go. If, however, the unthinkable does happen and he tries for Greenland through aggression, then other Western powers should play fair game; invade the US, infiltrate the White House, and put a bullet through the fucker's eyes before extending the courtesy of a kidnap.
And @Blue Maverick

Greenland/Denmark have already submitted 'strongly worded letters' about subversive actions by US operatives.
They will seek to undermine Denmarks 'ownership' and then come to Greenlands rescue as they fight for independence.
We as Europeans are too self serving to fight Americas aggression.
Trump will take this success in Venezuela and go for Panama with military force, Brazil economically for regime change and Greenland because he believes he's untouchable

"defensive alliance "
That expanded all the way to Russia in the 90s and early 2000s when Russia didn't have any military to speak of.

"If Russia does not invade any of the countries"
Which countries did Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Venezuela invade?
You are the one who is being intentionally thick.

Do you think the US would be fine with a "defensive alliance" between China and Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela?
There is a Ukraine/Russia thread >>>>>

When has such a course of action ever made anything better and led to a good situation?

When has such a course of action actually happened before? A president/ruler deciding to just unilaterally enact regime change without any alliance of nations or UN consultation or even letting congress/parliament vote on it.

It must be 60+ years since this has happened anywhere.

For the U.S., Panama, I think, in 89. I could be wrong though.

From what I've just heard, according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio this was never a planned operation, which is the reason they have given for not briefing Congress via the Gang of Eight... but they just happened to have all the assets and resources in place to essentially carry out an armed assault on foreign soil and kidnap their leader???

BULLSHIT!

Where does this leave the likes of Taiwan or Ukraine?

When is too far America???

So,

That live press conference was hosted at Mar a lago. How much do you think Trump has made personally from that, and how much has it cost US tax payers compared to hosting it at THE FUCKING WHITE HOUSE where it should be held?

Could you imagine if Biden or Obama had done such a significant national security press conference from their personal residence and turned a profit in the process? Remember the outrage when Obama wore a tan suit?

I dont really follow world politics. It seems to me that if the big powerful countries want something they just try and take it. Russia and America are doing it just need China to join in. Then North Korea will want some.

Russia and America seem to be best mates which seems odd to me.

Russia and America are the two main threats to the world and seem to be working together.

If I were a conspiracy theorist I'd say look at Nostradamus 3rd world war prediction.. America and Russia working together vs <insert random country>

Wow. 'Democratically elected'.
'Over thrown by Nato'

At least now I know what a Russian shill is.
The sad part is, I’m not even sure they realise it. Useful idiot springs to mind. He’ll be posting about the ‘promise’ that was made that NATO wouldn’t expand ‘an inch’ eastwards next.
