American City Fans

How do, ex pat living in the Savannah/Hilton Head area of SC - have never met a fellow blue over here... :(

I would be up for a US fan club, it would be quality to get together with fellow blues and watch a match every once in a while.

Isn't Savannah in Georgia? You at JCB?

No, but completely coincidentally, my uncle works for them back home. Very uninteresting, I know ;)

If anybody makes it to Vegas in the course of their travels give us a shout.

Coming in from the warm Nevada sunshine and enjoying a nice breakfast watching the City boys is the perfect way to start the day.

nice to see another blue in pittsburgh. i,ll be in pipers pub tomorrow watching the game(weather permitting big snowstorm on the way). i,ll have my city shirt on and my names tim.

Nice to meet you. I didnt think they were showing it 2morrow as its not on Setanta until 5pm (delayed). Or do you know something I dont?

Minnesota here...I'm 1 of only 3 City fans that I know of in this great state of 10 thousand lakes (2 of them are my wife and I)...I'll be at Brits Pub in downtown Minneapolis at 9am sharp with a friend of mine that supports Pompey. I'm guessing we will be the only 2 in the pub that will give a flying shit about this fixture - everyone that follows the Premier League here seems to support the rags or one of the other big 4.

I would love nothing more than to see a quality fan club over here...maybe some day.

I'm from Langley and now live in Los Angeles.
I've met a handful of blues over the years out here.
I know loads of reds over here btw and only two of them are proper Mancs.

Do you know the King Bill in Santa Monica? it is an english pub, but dont know if it shows City. My matwe (a red) lives there and goes in a lot.
They have the Kings Head and the Cock and Bull in Santa Monica, never heard of the King Bill unless it's a new one.
I used to go the the Cock and Bull every saturday morning, but now you can watch the footy on FSC so I usually watch City at home and if the game isn't being shown on the telly I'll use shady's links.

I'm not american ... and i don't post here much .. even though i do waste like 1 hour almost everyday over here reading all the nonsense:D

nyway i will be in california, berkeley from february to september this year .. if any other city fans would like 2 grab a drink and watch the game @ some pub .. i would be mightily pleased :D

I would love it. I'll be in Berkeley from about a week from now, at uni, but will be gone end of Jan/beginning of Feb. Will be in England (and at City-Newcastle). After that, would love to meet for a pint.

I met the first true city supporter that I've met here in the states about two weeks ago. I was at the gym, and this guy comes up to me and just shakes my hand. I thought it was weird, couldn't hear what he was saying cos I had my headphones on. Then I realize he had City shorts on (I had a city shirt on). Was brilliant. He was a MH fan though :(

Also, this is my first post. I'm and American Blue from Los Angeles originally, been a supporter for about six years now.

Hey fellas, I just got a job in San Francisco and I'm actually here right now apartment hunting. I will be moving out here for good in the next few weeks. there is always the curiously named "Manchester City" pub in north beach or I can meet you in the east bay. let's meet up.

One year my mum flew over for Christmas....I live near Washington DC, and she casually asked one weekend if we could have a day trip to Los Angeles. She thought it was a few hours car drive away, bless her :D

hahaha. My in laws from Manchester came to visit over christmas this year and had a lot of trouble getting here with the snowstorms and all. My Father in law said that if they got stuck in Atlanta(their connection) that they would just drive to Oregon :) . We all learned a lesson about scale that day :).

I think if a few of us including the poster before who said he owns mcfcusa.com got together online an evening in the near future and had a chat about this, a more US centric City fanclub we might be able to hash an idea or two out and have something to move forward with, or at least a place to start? Thoughts, opinions, scathing critiques? :)

this is incredible. I'm from texas. It takes about 14 hours to drive clear across the state.
