The thing Ricky has that Kotenlik doesn't have is POWER and a in your face fight plan. Khan would get stunned by Hatton or Witter if he fought them and they would test that chin out big time if either boxed Khan but I take my hat off he is now a World Champion not many people can say that.

Roach would make Khan fight the exact same game plan if he fought Ricky. He would make him use his feet alot and bombard Ricky everytime he came forward. Before Floyd Ricky never fought someone who had lightning hands. Both his losses are to 2 fast as fuck fighters and in both fights you could tell it was the speed that did him. Khan however isnt a "wow" fighter, he needs to sort his defence out, leaves himself too open. If he does that i believe he could be very good

Throw in the Collazo fight which was debatable.

just finished watching the highlights of the fight now.

i am not a fan of khans attitude and that is all, i think he is a good boxer and with roache on his side, he could go far.

so i am saying well done khan, you were the better fighter on the night.

Watched the Khan fight well done to him, but the then champion was unremarkable to say the least!

i watched the fight and thought khan was very good.if he had some power behind his shots he would be one hell of a fighter.i've never met Amir Khan so i can't say what he is like but alot of people seem to think he's a bit arrogant.he's a very unpopular local sportsman.people are saying the Ukranian was'nt up to much etc but i think Khan fought a very very good fight.you can only beat what is put in front of you

Anthony Small won by stoppage. Khan was dreadful imo, he wont survive long with those comedy punches and his linford christie run a rounds, complete "amateur" and always will be.

I didnt pay to watch (never will) , i saw it via Justin.tv great feed also, i would'nt give that twat (i dont swear much) the steam off my piss.

I kinda hope Hatton keeps away from the butty box and booze, and gets in the ring with little nas and cleans his clock.

If anybody actually thinks Amir Kahn is any good you need your head testing. He is being used by Frank Warren for money, he is being promoted as the next big thing but they all know he is far from it. They made the mistake of putting him in with a half decent boxer Prescott and he was knocked out in round 1.

Hatton has never been knocked out that early in a fight the only time he got a beating was against pacquio and that is because he is awesome, Hatton did well in the Mayweather fight but was caught out by a good shot and some dubious refereeing.

I hope Hatton fights Kahn as even though he is at the latter stage of his career he would still destroy Kahn, Frank Warren knows it, thats why he is doing everything he can to avoid it as he wants to 'milk the cow' for a bit longer. This means like last night he will be put in against fake champions from eastern europe or has been American stars and they will keep him away from any decent fighters as Warren nearly lost his payday when he put him in against Prescott and he will never risk that again.

All I can say to people is do not be fooled by the media hype.

Since when is the WBU (Hatton's long cherished 10th rate belt) better than the WBA?

Khan is an exciting boxer and very good one all bias aside. Hatton was a very good jnr welterweight and unlikely to fight someone of Khan's ability in his fairwell fight.

All boxers are hyped up by promoters, that is their job.

Hatton in the press conference before the Pacquio fight promising that all the travelling fans would not be dissapointed, Del La Hoya saying how Hatton would knock him out etc. All hype for PPV. Same with Bruno in 1989, every boxer is promoted beyond their ability.

Well i know very little about boxing but every review of Khan's fight gave him a big thumbs up for his performance.
I do know a bit about promotions and if you think Warren and Khan are the only ones that use the media to generate cash then you must have had your head up your arse for the last 30 years.

There is absolutely no reason for Hatton to fight Khan.

From a promoters point of view there are ten million reasons.
And they all have the Queen's head on them.
