Khan deserved to win and well done to him,he will be a good champion,though not great because he is too easy to hit,one thing you can't train is the ability to absorb a punch on the chin,if/when Khan fights someone fairly quick with a decent punch,especially at the higher weight level,he will have real trouble.

yeah just thinking that as i was reading through this thread,there are some proper sad fucks on here who dish out the racist card as soon as you have a go or dislike a non white,wankers the lot of them.My son who is 13 hates khan and cant stand the sound of him as he come across all cocky and arrogant sounding i just tell him its just self confidence and just the way he is but he has his opinion and i have mine,not a hint of racism...i personally dont mind khan descent boxer with a bright future..

Racisim has nothing to do with people not liking Khan. Since Khan turned pro he has been pushed to the moon and back by his promotor. Khan this Khan that. He got to were he is by Warrens money in getting him fights against average fighters to get his rankings up. He never boxed either of the top British fighters at his weight class during that time which sickens me. When he was in with a banger he got KO'd and Warrens money was there to pick up the pieces. Got him with Roach and he has so far got the rub of the green. His fight with Barrera should of been stopped straight away after the head clash one of the worst cuts I have seen to get the go ahead to fight on.
Then on the back of that fight they get a title shot in the weight division above how that works I will never know. I would say this Warrens money and Roachs gameplan won that fight for Khan. I know there will be a lot of fighters looking at Khan being the weak link in this division and I have a feeling Barrera will want a rematch after that joke of a fight not to mention all the others who have been mentioned but Khan will now have to prove people wrong about everything and defend his title. He wont have to make a Mandatory until probaly next year so at the end of this year he will be in again but with a easier option.

so your saying hatton wasnt determined to beat Manny???? Hatton sucks against speed, Amir is too tall and fast for Hatton... Even Roach has said that Amir is just as fast if not faster than Manny (dunno if he is) his speed would beat Ricky imo. Ricky has 1 style of boxing and it eventually got caught out when he fought the best. Tzyu in his prime would ruin Ricky easily. I know ill get abuse but who cares, most here like ricky coz hes a blue, hes good but very over rated.

Never liked Hatton's style of boxing. Especially after I saw a docu about him claiming to study the greatest boxers of all time and could emulate them if he wanted to.

The thing Ricky has that Kotenlik doesn't have is POWER and a in your face fight plan. Khan would get stunned by Hatton or Witter if he fought them and they would test that chin out big time if either boxed Khan but I take my hat off he is now a World Champion not many people can say that.

Roach would make Khan fight the exact same game plan if he fought Ricky. He would make him use his feet alot and bombard Ricky everytime he came forward. Before Floyd Ricky never fought someone who had lightning hands. Both his losses are to 2 fast as fuck fighters and in both fights you could tell it was the speed that did him. Khan however isnt a "wow" fighter, he needs to sort his defence out, leaves himself too open. If he does that i believe he could be very good

When Khan got stopped it wasn't a punch to the chin, it was to his temple that too the blow that did the damage.

He has had two very big fights in his last 3.

Urango would be the obvious next big fight, he is the only other boxer with a proper belt in that division.

that prescott fight was amazingly funny...even the next day when he gave an interview,he still wasn't quite with it.

Prescott got beaten last night by Miguel Vasquez Prescott had him down in the first round but the bloke got up and won on the cards by boxing well so the report says. Goes on to say was Prescott lucky to beat Khan? My answer NO.

You only have to watch the fight to see it wasn't a fluke. why do the press feel they have to bum him??? winds me up!!

Hatton does have in your face fight plan but one massive thing goes against him in this match-up. He cannot respond to speedy combination punching. He just cannot. See the Collazo fight, the Mayweather fight and the Pacquiao. Don't get me wrong Khan isn't on their level yet and he may never get close to Pac and Mayweather but he has the same blinding speed (if not faster) and the same ability to put punches together.

Hatton's come forward with hands at chest height plan would see him get embarassed imo. Sure he is the power to hurt Khan (who doesn't) but i see Hatton being completely dominated.

Would be hard to watch.
