Amsterdam meet up point

Dunno how to start a new thread.. As anyone got any decent priced hotel or hostels near Amsterdam square?

it's called dam square. And there is tons of budget accommodation around there. Just go on Expedia or similar and there are absolutely loads

What's Vondelpark like for bars/cafes, etc.

Been told it's a 15 minute tram ride or 30-40 minute walk into the centre.

Worth staying there or not?

Been told it's a 15 minute tram ride or 30-40 minute walk into the centre.

Worth staying there or not?

if you like the look of rembrantsplein then it's very close. It's not right in the heart of the city but it's pleasant and close enough. You're not short of bars anywhere in Amsterdam to be honest. I'd prefer to be more central, and I am, but it's fine.

u guys thought about meeting up at reillys pub? they serve great food and drink prices are not steep.

Get urself in the white tulip hostel full of blues right by everything u need n by the square also

Staying at the HEM hotel Amsterdam 4 of us in one room £40 on the night of the game £10 each happy days. You only need somewhere to crash. Ten mins from the centre.
