it was much better than i thought itd be. im a massive fan of gervais, merchant and karl but was worried that they had overdone it with advertising and shown all the best bits. not the case, it was fucking hilarious.

i think alot of karl is a character but alot of it is actually him being himself. if he is a character its pure genius.

and the point i've made is that the programme seems decent. there is just no need to treat us as idiots by creating a scene where they 'force' him to go. he probably does hate going abroad.
i hate united but if someone paid me thousands of pounds to make a programme where i have to go to watch them for a season at old trafford and that was my job, i'd do it.

Why can't people just sit back, watch it and enjoy it instead of crying like girls wether he got forced to go or not. Why look that much into things? I don't give a toss it's one of the funniest things i've watched, forced to go or not.

Funniest thing i have seen in years.

Even little things made me laugh. Like when he is on the coach and he sees the wall and the old lady shuts the curtain. His expression is priceless.

Used to love Gerveis and the office was genius!
I used to also quite like Pilkington and the whole set-up with Steve Merchent etc..
However, I will not watch it..mainly due to the fact that it is all a bit tiresome now!
It just seems really staged to me.. a little bit like how Clarkson et al on top gear always finding themselves in all kinds of crazy situations and they find it hilarious even though you know they know it's all staged!!
Saying that, it's probably still better than most of the drivel on telly these days!
I just can't bring myself to watch it tbh!

i thought it was quality, shame the preview programme last week spoiled a few of the better moment.

everytime i find out someone is a rag though they automatically go down in my expectations :( still a quality programme :)
