Ancelotti Sacked!!! Official...................

Would anyone be surprised if Roman announced he was taking over as manager himself? Lol.

Just to bring you up to speed on why this happened.

1. Ray Wilkins wanted more than the board thought he deserved from his contract. In short he got greedy and left.

2. Ancelotti's father died in Italy this year which no doubt upset him. That happened around the time Chelsea's form started to decline. I suspect he felt guilty that he was in England when this happened.

3. This was Chelsea's least successful season since Abramovich's take over.

4. The same out of form players were selected over better performing youth and bench warmers.

5. He never stuck with a playing style or formation which lead to very erratic performances.

I really like Ancelotti. You'll never meet a nicer man and he's a decent manager to boot. But at the height of professional football you can't have a season that bad and keep your job. Its just a fact of the business (unless you're Ferguson or Wenger).

I think its the players. I think they all are some of the most self-righteous, arrogant, selfish players in the prem. I think that until that old guard of Lampard, Terry, Drogba, and Cole are gone, any manager that walks through those doors is just going to get chewed up and spit out after these guys don't don't like what the skipper is asking them to do. Just my opinion.

If only the board at The Swamp thought like you, Baconface would have been sacked many times over for his unacceptable second place finishes, & we wouldn't have to put up with the smug twats & their n-n-n-n-nineteen taunts!

You finished second for christs sake, you weren't fucking relegated!

The writing has been on the wall for him for a while. This has been our least successful season since Abramovich bought the club - there is no surviving that. He's a great guy, a descent manager, but he couldn't cut it this season.

Your owner lost you the league.
