Cheers BluWhit, always appreciate any info anyone hears, wish people wouldn't constantly cross examine people when posting in good faith.

I often hear snippets of info from someone well connected but through fear of getting lambasted with questions and people doubting me I just don't bother!

I listen mate, but when someone tells me their info stated as fact, signed at an exact time on an exact date and the exact shirt number they will wear, it is bollocks, we had a transfer with the same club recently and it went exactly as it should, statement released to their stock exchange etc, then we followed suit blah blah blah, this one is top secret. Can you imagine the Astra Zeneca take over saga, "oh by the way, we were bought out the other week, sorry if it offends", we decided not to let anyone know coz it suited us. I firmly believe that he will sign and will wear the 20 shirt, I also believe if he does sign, the photo opportunity may well have happened and most of what whit has said is true. But signed, no way.

Why can't he have signed a contract and that now needs to be signed by us once everything is in order with Porto?
 
Some people on here do seem to be obsessed with who is "ITK", and seem to get a bit needy. Off the top of my head there's probably three users who I trust more than others, but even then I'm conscious of the fact they can't know everything and that things can change quite quickly. Unless you're within the very inner circle of the club then you can't know everything.

The hounding on here gets absurd at times, but I guess that's the nature of the internet. I experienced it myself a few years ago. I got quite close to a senior first team player, and he told me stuff which (with his consent) I shared on here. When it didn't materialise some got arsey, as if I'd fabricated the whole thing.

The point I'm making is that even first team players don't know for certain what is going on, and things they are told don't always happen. Bombarding Tolmie with questions that even Pellegrini won't know the answer to is futile.

When people share titbits on here I enjoy reading it, and am sensible enough to know who I believe and who I don't. If you start hounding people, unless they're an obvious WUM, it just makes you look either a bit needy or a bit of a tool. By all means express scepticism if you want, but no one is likely to say who their sources are. Just enjoy it for what it is, or ignore it if it riles you.
