If true, could we not offer a small fee with the initial loan this window and then pay the rest of what Madrid would ask for in a tranfer fee in January; as the £49m budget doesn't count then, I think.

Any idea what this clue is? In terms of getting Isco, that would probably mean a non HG players leaving. Likeliest would be Jovetic I guess :(. ISCO ISCO ISCO.

So far this summer we have sorted a better sub keeper, a right back to give Zabaleta some rest, a better midfielder than Garcia (hopefully) and looks liek and upgrade on Lescott.
The Yaya situation appears to have resolved itself.
What's left:
Contracts for Joe, Dzeko and maybe Milner
Moves for Richards, Rodwell, Guidetti and Sinclair. They won't raise much cash and some may leave on loan.
Futures of Garcia and Nastasic to be resolved. Maybe a move for one of Negredo or Jovetic.
We're linked with Barkley and Isco. Barkley we might get if we can raise the funds, £35m-£40m which will be very hard in that our unwanted players will probably only leave in the final few days of the transfer window. Isco we may get on loan but are unlikely to be able to play him in the Champions League unless we lose 3 foreign players from our squad.
