Thanks for all the kind wishes, blues.

Don't worry about a cake, I don't eat sugar or carbs during the week!

My birthday started with a punishing '40' minute interval run on 16.5, just to stare down old father time.

Told we are expecting an answer from Mangala by the end of the week or we are ready to pull the plug.

The manager wants everybody out in America with him.

If you will indulge me for old times sake ;)....

Shouldn't be running at your age. Think of your knees, ankles and back. Get yourself a bike or a cross trainer.

Happy birthday.

Re the clue: John Terry nailed on

I did both of them after the run!

Cardio day.

Top chest and back tomorrow.

Didn't you use that for Nasri or Clichy?

Can't think of anyone available we would want in London, Spurs have a lot of decent but not quite top drawer players, no one good enough for us. Arsenal have a few good enough but the cost would be prohibitive. Chelsea wouldn't sell to us. West Ham and QPR don't have anyone good enough to play for City. Unless we're getting Barton back ;)

If Pellegrini wants everything sorted before America, hopefully the Yaya situation will be resolved by then.

Was actually for Nasri and Clichy.

I really do fear City could make this situation a lot worse by digging our heels in on Toure.

You don't keep players who don't want to stay. And not ones who have such a big say in the dressing room.

Rotten apple and all that.

People need to remember that PSG are not in any rush.

Like us, they have a transfer restriction and have already spent the majority of it on Luiz.

The last thing they need to be doing is a favour to City, by splurging on Toure right now, whilst tipping off the rest of Europe that theythen need to raise X amount in outgoings to balance the books.

The longer they leave it, anyhow, the lower the price will be for a player who still has plenty of weeks for agitation.

If they know Toure wants to join them, they can sit on their hands.

Sadly you know it doesn't work like that. We have an unhappy player on our books, he has been probably tapped up by PSG. If you are PSG to you offer City exactly what they want and shake hands? Or do you wait until relationships get worse between the club and player and pounce for less later in the window when the player has done a Tevez and the club are desperate.

We all know the answer.

I would love City to say to Toure that he'll be allowed leave for £35m by the 21st of July. No other deal and if no sufficient bid you stay abd we reserve the right to sue you for defamation over the allegation we prevented you from seeing your brother if you act up. Never going to happen of course but in an ideal world and all that.
