Jack Rodwell and James Milner have become the most important people in this entire window...

Would expect it to be Ross Barkley as could imagine Milner being just the type of player Martinez would want at Everton. Would love to see Barkley at City.

Same here, I like Milner but we've got to start looking to the future.
Totally agree too. Barkley would be a perfect replacement for Yaya in twelve months when his legs stsrt to go imo. I also think they'll be a gentleman's agreement to sell him in a year too, most probably to PSG. Not sure about the numbers as it'll be no doubt 'plus cash', but that deal, as alluded to by TH makes so much sense.

Jimmy M is a Northern Boy so this could fit. Don't see him moving south of Birmingham.

It will have to include Milner for the other club to even consider the proposal.

Would assume it's Barkley but either way, is this the player United have been talking to as well? Think it'll take big big bucks for them to contemplate selling, would certainly surpass Shaw's fee (that is of course it is indeed Barkley). Will eventually be a world beater but can't help but think it's probably two years too early.

Maybe it's not Berkley or if it is maybe we are putting a deal in place to sell them Milner and Rodwell now; with an agreement to buy Berkeley next summer? Or if it's not Berkeley - what about Marallas as an impact substitute?

An Everton midfield of Rodwell Barry and Milner looks pretty decent obviously if Rodwell stays fit.

Barkley to City and If Yaya leaves (hope not) gives us

Fernando, Fernadhino and Barkley with Silva Nasri and Aguero in front.

We would have Garcia as back up but IMO he leaves and Yaya stays
